1. Be Nice. Or at the very least, be polite. Do not flame your fellow posters (or anyone else, for that matter), and do not attempt to cleverly bypass the word filter. Some folks don't mind bad language, but others do, and this site should be comfortable for everyone. Keep it clean, or learn to live with the little asterisks.
2. No Spam. If you make a post, once is enough. If you want it to receive attention, make sure you've posted it in the appropriate forum -- interested parties can and will find it. If you need a post to be moved to a different location, contact a Moderator, or delete the post yourself and repost it in the new location.
   1. News Posts. This forum automatically receives the latest news and game updates from the official Guild Wars site, and the Admin and Moderators check periodically to make sure that the news is up to date. Please do not post official news, or your post will be deleted.
   2. Double Posts. If you accidentally make a double post, you have the ability to delete the extra post yourself.
   3. Bumping. Please do not bump your posts more than once every 24 hours.
3. No Advertising. Do not share links, images or information (in your posts, profile or signature!) about:
   1. pornographic, racist or illegal materials
   2. gold farming, hacks or cheats
   3. link-for-profit sites that pay the poster for inbound links
   4. pharmaceuticals
   5. or pretty much anything not on the topic of Guild Wars, aside from within the Off-Topic forum

Posts, profiles and signatures containing such links will be edited or deleted, and items a-d will result in an immediate ban.

4. No Junk Mail. Do not use our Private Messaging system to spam, harrass, or otherwise bother other forum members.
5. One Account Per User. Do not create multiple forum accounts. Accounts used to circumvent bans, bump posts, or falsely inflate prices of items for sale will be deleted faster than you can say "Spiteful Spirit".
6. Moderator Word Is Law. This is a private website and forum, and these rules and their enforcement by the Admins and Mods is the law here. We reserve the right to edit or delete, temporarily or permanently, any post, or ban any user, without warning or explanation. However, if your posts are being modified or you are banned for a reason not described in the above rules, you should receive a message from the Moderator(s) involved explaining why. If you think the decision was unfair, you can politely appeal to other Mods or Admins; we may or may not change our minds, but flaming us is a pretty good way to earn yourself a guaranteed ban.
